The Garfield Messenger

Izzy Lamola is a senior writer on The Garfield Messenger. She loves InDesign, despite the tedious work, and is a lover of opinion pieces and op-eds. She is inspired by her friends, and other creative people around her, to pursue constant creativity through painting, playing guitar, and writing about absolutely anything. Izzy will partake in any debate and loves connecting with strangers. This will be her third year, after applying freshman year when her mom pushed her to put herself out there and join. This year she is looking forward to practicing journalism via technology and growing her journalistic skills. The Messenger has been an important part of Izzy’s life by teaching Izzy her love for leadership, and being socially and globally aware.
